Lucknow Residency : Built during 1780-1800, it was once the political residence of the British officials. A very bad eruption occurred here in 1857. You can still watch sight of the cannon marks on the walls around.
Rumi Darwaza : Just beyond Bara Imambara is the ornamental gateway, built by Nawab Asafuddaula in 1784. The gate is ornated with beautiful intricate designs from the base to the top.
Vidhan Sabha Building : Housing both bodies of State Legislature of the state. This building is extremely impressive.
La Martiniere : This time blend of Italian architecture, with Mughal and Hindu styles, designed by Claude Martine, a French soldier, houses the leading educational institutes of the city.
